A Warm Welcome to David Wippman

Hamilton College recently hit a low point when activists calling themselves “the Movement” made national headlines for their laughable list of “demands” that sent college administrators scrambling to appease them in one way or another.

Fortunately, Hamilton followed up the low point with a high point the very next week. On December 11, Hamilton announced the selection of a new college president. David Wippman, a professor of international law and the Dean of the University of Minnesota Law School, will assume the office in July 2016.

Few Hamilton students respect the Movement’s childish and arrogant calls for public apologies, special attention, and, of course, money. Our college administrators, meanwhile, rushed to validate the protesters’ demands and feelings.

Cost of Dermatology Drugs Rising

In 2009, Steven Rosenberg, a practicing dermatologist from West Palm Beach, Florida joined forces with his daughter, currently a medical student at the University of Pennsylvania, to survey the cost of popular prescription skin-care medicines. They wanted to educate local dermatologists about the prices of drugs they were prescribing to patients on a daily basis.
